The True Symbolism of Christmas

This evening, we will talk about the symbolism of Christmas. It is clear that this is a wonderful event that requires deep reflection.

The Sun, every year, makes an elliptical journey that begins on December 25th onwards.

Then, it returns again towards the South Pole, towards the area where Antarctica is. For this reason, it is worth reflecting on its deep significance.

At this time of year, the cold weather begins here in the North, precisely because the Sun is moving away towards the southern regions, and on December 24th the Sun will have reached its maximum on its journey to the South. If it were not for the Sun moving north, from December 25th onwards, we would die of cold, the whole Earth would become a mass of ice and every creature, everything that has life, would really perish. Therefore, it is well worth reflecting on the Christmas event…

THE CHRIST-SUN must advance to give us his life, and in the Spring Equinox he is crucified on Earth; then the grapes and the wheat ripen. And it is precisely in Spring, when the Lord must go through his life, passion, death…, to then resurrect (HOLY WEEK is in SPRING).

The physical Sun is nothing more than a symbol of the SPIRITUAL SUN, of the Christ-Sun. When the ancients worshipped the Sun, when they worshipped it, they were not referring to the physical Sun, no; they worshipped the Spiritual Sun, the MIDNIGHT SUN, the Christ-Sun.

Unquestionably, it is the Christ-Sun who must guide us in the Superior Worlds of Cosmic Consciousness. Every mystic who learns to function outside the physical body at will, is guided by the Midnight Sun, by the COSMIC CHRIST.

It is necessary to learn to know the symbolic movements of the Midnight Sun. He is the one who always guides the Initiate, he is the one who guides us, he is the one who tells us what we should and should not do.

I am speaking, then, in the deepest esoteric sense; taking into account that every Initiate knows how to leave the physical body at will (because not knowing how to leave at will is typical of beginners, or of people who are just now taking their first steps in these studies).

From the moment one is on the Path, one must learn to be guided by the Midnight Sun, by the Christ-Sun; learn to KNOW HIS SIGNS, his movements: if one sees him, for example, sinking there in the evening, what is he telling us? Simply, that something must die in us.

If one sees him rising in the East, what does that tell us? That something must be born in us…

When we do well in the Esoteric Tests, he shines in all his plenitude on the horizon. The Lord guides us in the Superior Worlds, and one must learn, therefore, to know his signs.

Dubui, and many others, have studied the wonderful event of Christmas. There is no doubt (and Dubui recognizes this) that all the Religions of antiquity celebrated Christmas…

As the physical Sun advances to the North in order to give life to the entire creation, in the same form the Midnight Sun, the Sun of the Spirit, the Christ-Sun, give us life if we learn to obey his commandments.

Obviously, the Bible talks about the solar event, and it is necessary to understand its occult meaning.

Each year, the Cosmic Drama of the Christ-Sun is lived in the Macrocosms (each year I repeat). Let us take in account that each year the Christ-Sun has to crucify himself in the world, to live his drama of life, passion and death, and resurrect later in all which has been and will be, that is to say, in the whole creation. In this form is how everybody receives the life of the Christ-Sun.

It is also true that every year, as the Sun moves away from the southern regions, it leaves us (here in the North) sad, because it goes to give life to other places. The long winter nights are harsh; at Christmas time, the days are short, and the nights are long…

Let us reflect on all this, and it is convenient that we understand what the COSMIC DRAMA really is. It becomes necessary for the Christ-Sun to also be born in us (he must be born in us).

In the Holy Scriptures, there is clear talk of “BETHLEHEM” and of a “STABLE” where he was born. This “Stable of Bethlehem” is within us, here and now. Precisely, in this Inner Stable dwell the ANIMALS OF DESIRE, all those passionate I’s that we carry in our psyche; that is obvious.

Bethlehem itself is an esoteric name. In the times when the Great Kabir Jesus came to the world, the hamlet of Bethlehem did not exist. So, all of that is absolutely symbolic. Bel is a Chaldean root that means Tower of Fire. So, Bethlehem means Tower of Fire… Who could ignore that Bel is a term that is related with the tower of Bel, the Tower of Fire? So, Bethlehem is completely symbolic.

When the Initiate works with the Sacred Fire, when the Initiate eliminates the psychic aggregates from his intimate nature, when he is truly carrying out the GREAT WORK, he must undoubtedly go through the VENUSTIC INITIATION.

HERMES TRISMEGISTUS, the three times great Ibis God of Thoth, also incarnated him. JOHN THE BAPTIST (whom many regarded as the Christus, the Anointed One), unquestionably received the Venustic Initiation, incarnated it…

The Baptist Gnostics asserted in the Holy land, that the true Messiah was John, and that Jesus was just an initiate that had wanted to follow John. In those days there were discussions between the Baptists the Gnostics Essenes and others.

Therefore, we must understand Christ as he is, not as a person, not as a subject.

Christ is beyond Personality, the Self and Individuality; Christ (in authentic Esotericism) is the LOGOS, the SOLAR LOGOS, represented by the Sun. Now we will understand why the Incas worshipped the Sun; the Nahuatls worshipped the Sun, the Mayans did the same; the Egyptians did the same, etc.

It is not about worshipping a physical Sun, no; but rather what is hidden behind that physical symbol. Obviously, what was worshipped was the Solar Logos, the Second Logos. That Solar Logos is PERFECT MULTIPLE UNITY (“variety is unity”) In the World of the Cosmic Christ, separate Individuality does not exist; in the Lord, we are all One.

We are all ONE

In these moments comes to my memory an esoteric experiment that I made many years ago. Then, submerged in profound meditation, I attained the Samadhi, the state of Manteia or ecstasy, as is called in the western esotericism. I wanted in that epoch to know something about the baptism of Jesus the Christ, that as we well know was baptized by John.

At that time, I wanted to know something about the Baptism of Jesus Christ (for we know that John baptized him).

The State of Abstraction was profound, I achieved perfect DHARANA (that is, Concentration), DHYANA (Meditation), and finally I achieved SAMADHI (I would dare to say that it was a MAHA-SAMADHI, because I perfectly abandoned the Physical, Astral, Mental, Causal, Buddhic and even Atmic Bodies). I was thus able to return my Consciousness (in an integral form) to the Logos.

Therefore, I made the investigation been in that Logoic state, been a Dragon of Wisdom. Immediately, I saw myself in the Holy Land, inside of a Temple; but something extraordinary: I saw myself transformed in John the Baptist, wearing a sacred cloth. I saw when Jesus was brought with his white tunic. Talking to him, I said: “Jesus, undress yourself because I am going to baptize you”

Afterwards, I took some oil (olive oil) from a container, led him into the Sanctuary, anointed him with oil, poured water on him, recited the mantras or rites… Later, the Master sat down on his chair, apart. I put everything away again, put it in its place, and ended the ceremony…

But I saw myself transformed in John. Of course, once the ecstasy or Samadhi was gone, I said to myself: “How come that I can be John the Baptist? I am not John the Baptist, not even remotely!” I was really perplexed, so I said: “I will do now, another concentration; but now I am not going to do the concentration on John, but Jesus of Nazareth.” I selected as a subject of concentration, the great Master Jesus.

The work was long and laborious; the concentration became deeper and deeper.

Soon I passed from Dharana (Concentration) to Dhyana (Meditation); and from Dhyana I passed, later, to Samadhi, that is, to Ecstasy. A new supreme effort allowed me to undress myself from the Physical, Astral, Mental, Causal, Buddhic, Atmic Bodies, until I retrograde my Consciousness, or absorb it in the World of the Solar Logos.

And in such a state, wanting to know about the Christ-Jesus, I saw myself transformed into the Christ-Jesus, performing miracles and wonders in the Holy Land: healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, etc., etc., etc. And finally, I saw myself dressed in the sacred garment, arriving before John, in that Temple. Then John addresses me, he says:

“Jesus, undress yourself because I am going to baptize you…”

The roles were reversed: I no longer saw myself transformed into John, but into Jesus, and I received the baptism of John, just as I have said…

When the Samadhi passed, once in my physical body, I could verify perfectly that in the world of the Cosmic Christ we are all one. If I had wanted to meditate on any of you, there in the World of Logos, I would have seen myself transformed into any of you, living your life. Because there, there is no Individuality, no Personality, no Self. There we are all the Christ, there we are all John, there we are all the Buddha, there we are all One; in the World of Logos, there is no separate Individuality. The Logos is the Perfect Multiple Unity, is an energy that flows and palpitates in all that exists, in the depth of every atom, of every electron, of every proton, and that expresses itself in any man that is properly prepared.

Well, I have done this clarification synthesis with the intention to clarify in better form the event of Bethlehem.

The incarnation of the Cosmic Christ

When a man is properly prepared, passes through the Venustic Initiation (but he has to be duly prepared), and in the Venustic Initiation attains the incarnation of the Cosmic Christ, in himself, inside of his own nature.

It would be useless for Jesus to have been born in Bethlehem if he had not also been born in our hearts. It would have been useless for him to have died and risen in the Holy Land if he had not also died and risen in us (that is the nature of the SALVATOR-SALVANDUS).

The Inner Christ must save us but save all of us from within.

Those that wait the return of Jesus of Nazareth in a remote future, are mistaken. The Christ has to come now from within; the second return of the Lord is from within, from the depth of our Consciousness.

That is why it is written:

“If you hear anyone say, The Christ is in the public square,’ do not believe it. And if they say to you, ‘He is there in the Temple, preaching,’ do not believe it.”

The Christ will not come from outside this time but from within; he will come from the very depth of our heart, if we prepare ourselves.

Paul clarifies this point saying:

“That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Titus 3:7

If one study Paul of Tarsus carefully, one sees that he in rare occasions allude to the historic Christ. Each time Paul of Tarsus talks about Jesus Christ, he is talking about the Inner Jesus Christ, the Inner Jesus Christ, that has to appear in the depth of our spirit, of our soul.

As long as a Man has not incarnated Him, he cannot be said to possess Eternal Life. Only He can take our Soul out of Hades, only He can truly give us life, and give it to us in abundance. So, we must be less dogmatic and learn to think of the Inner Christ. That is great!

All the symbolism related to the birth of Jesus is ALCHEMICAL AND KABBALISTIC.

It is said that “THREE WISE MEN came to worship him, guided by a Star”. That piece could not be understood, frankly, if one did not know Alchemy, because it is Alchemical. What is that Star, and who are those Wise Men? I tell you that this Star is none other than the SEAL OF SOLOMON, the six-pointed Star, symbol of the Solar Logos

Obviously, the superior triangle represents the Sulphur, that is to say, the Fire. And what does the inferior triangle represent in alchemy? The mercury, the Water. But what is the kind of water that the alchemists talk about? They talk about “the water that does not wet, about the radical metallic number,” or in other words, about the Exhiohehari, the sacred sperm. Undoubtedly through the transmutation of the sexual secretions that extraordinary water, the “pure waters of Amrita,” the Mercury of the Secret Philosophy is made.

It is really worth to meditate in the Seal of Solomon. There you have the superior triangle, living representation of the Sulphur and the inferior one, living representation of the Mercury. It means that the Sacred Fire, the Fire of the Holy Spirit, has to fecundate the Chaotic Matter, so the life can appear; it has to fecundate the Mercury of the Secret Philosophy. Undoubtedly, it is a bit difficult to understand the Star of Bethlehem if we do not use the Seal of Solomon and the Alchemy.

I repeat, the Mercury is the Metallic Soul of the Sacred Sperm; the Sulphur is the Sacred Fire of Kundalini. Once we understand this, we can clarify something else: the Sulphur has to fecundate the Mercury. With the Mercury fecundated by the Sulphur, we can create the Existential Superior Bodies of the Being. So, if we would not understand this, we could not understand the Seal of Solomon, nor the Star that appeared to the Three Wise Men.

For a better explanation, here we have the Three Mercuries:

• First: Is what the alchemists call the Raw Mercury, that is to say, the Sacred Sperm. This is a bit difficult and hard to understand, but if you pay attention, at least you will get an idea. If you want me to explain the Christmas, I have to explain it as it is, or not to explain at all… Undoubtedly, the first thing we have is the Raw Mercury, the sacred Sperm.

• Second: The sexual energy, the result of the sperm’s transmutation.

• Third: The Mercury already fecundated by the Sulphur, or in other words, the sexual energy already fecundated by the sacred fire, a mixture of energy and fire that ascends through the spinal column, to lead us to the Inner Self- Realization of the Being. This third Mercury is the Arche of the Greeks. So, in the Arche there is Salt, there is Sulphur and Mercury, that is obvious.

Up there, in the Macrocosm, the NEBULA, for example, is composed of Salt, Sulfur, Mercury (there is Arche, it is the Arche of the Greeks), from there come the Cosmic Units. Here below, we need to create the Arche, how? Through transmutation. And from that Arche, which will be a compound of Salt, Sulfur, Mercury, the SUPERIOR EXISTENTIAL BODIES OF THE BEING will be born.

If somebody has the Astral, Mental and Causal bodies, obviously becomes a Solar man and receives his psychic and spiritual principles. Of course, at the beginning we only have the Raw Mercury and is necessary to transmute it, that is to say, the sexual secretions have to be transmuted, transformed in energy.

That energy is called the Metallic Soul of the Sperm, that energy ascends through the spermatic channels to the brain. Later, that energy fuse its positive and negative poles in the coccyx, near the Tribeni and then the fire appears. The fire fecundates that energy; the fire mixed with that energy ascends through the spinal marrow to the brain.

The surplus of that Mercury fecundated by the Sulphur, crystallizes in the Superior Existential Bodies of the Being. First, it will be formed the Astral body; second, it will be formed the body of the Mind and third, it will be formed the Causal body. When somebody has the Astral, Mental and Causal bodies, receives his psychic and spiritual principles, that is to say, he becomes a man, a true man. So that is indispensable. But to create the Existential Superior Bodies of the Being and to perfect them is another thing.

Undoubtedly, the Salt, the Sulphur and the Mercury are the base of everything. Wherever there is matter, there is Salt; every matter in its last element is Salt and the Salt can be transformed in gold. So, the Existential Superior Bodies of the Being, are a mixture of Salt, Sulphur and Mercury. The Salt in any of those bodies, through the combined action of the Sulphur and the Mercury, is transformed in gold.

To convert such Bodies into Gold, into FINE GOLD VEHICLES, would be the right thing to do, and that is the Great Work. But such a miracle could not be accomplished if one did not receive EXTRA HELP. This marvelous help consists of THE CHRISTMAS OF THE HEART. The Christ must be born in the heart of Man, so that this gigantic work can be accomplished, which is to transform the Superior Existential Bodies of the Being into Vehicles of pure Gold.

Let us place ourselves in any of these bodies: the Astral body. Let us imagine a person who has an Astral body. One knows that has an Astral body when can use it, can travel with it consciously and positively, when one can travel from one planet to another with this body… Let us imagine a person who has that Astral body but that is working in order to transform it in a vehicle of pure gold, that is to say, that wants to perfect it. How he could do that if he does not eliminate the Dry Mercury (the “I’s”) and the Arsenic- Sulphur, that is to say, the sanguinolent atoms of the lust?

Obviously, he will need help and if he attains the elimination of the dry Mercury and the Arsenic-Sulphur or Poisonous Sulphur, then his Astral body will be transformed in a vehicle of gold. But this work is difficult. Fortunately, the Inner Christ intervenes and helps eliminating all that Dry Mercury and that Poisonous Mercury or Arsenic-Sulphur. And finally, as a result of these works, that vehicle is transformed in a body of gold.

The salt that transforms that Astral body in a vehicle of precious gold, necessarily will have to pass through successive stages. The first one is symbolized by the Black Raven, by Saturn. Why? Because the initiate will have to start working with the Death: will have to eliminate, to destroy, to disintegrate all the inhuman elements that has in his Astral body (and that means death, rottenness), to finally reach the White Color that is fundamental.

Obviously, that White Color is represented by the white dove. The initiates of Egypt used to receive the Ba, that is to say, the wearing of white linen, to represent the chastity, the pureness. The third symbol is the Yellow Eagle, the initiate has the right to wear the yellow tunic. The fourth, is the fourth stage of the work, the initiate receives the purple, his Astral body has been already transformed in a vehicle of pure gold of the finest quality. The chief of all of this alchemist work is the Inner Christ.

The wise men say that “the Salt, the Sulphur and the Mercury, are passive instruments of the Great Work.” They say, “the most important is the Inner Magnes.” That Magnes cited by Paracelsus, is the inner Christ, the Lord. He has to do, in truth, all the Great Work.

I used as example the Astral body, but an identical work has to be done with each one of the Existential Superior Bodies of the Being. That work without the Inner Magnes of Alchemy, it would be impossible. For this reason, when one begins the Great Work, has to incarnate the Inner Christ.

He is born in the “STABLE” of our own body (in there we have all the ANIMALS OF DESIRE and of the lower passions); he has to grow, develop through the ascent of the degrees; become a MAN AMONG MEN; take charge of all our mental, volitional, sexual, emotional processes, etc., etc., etc… to be like anybody else.

Since the Christ is such a perfect Being that he is not a sinner, he nevertheless has to live as a sinner among sinners, unknown among the unknown; that is the harsh reality of the facts. But He grows and develops as He eliminates within Himself the undesirable elements that we carry within.

His integration with us is such that he places all responsibility on his shoulders; he has become a sinner like us (even though he is not a sinner), feeling, in flesh and blood, the temptations, living like anyone else, and so, little by little, as he eliminates the undesirable elements from our psyche (not as something foreign, but as something proper to him), he develops and unfolds within himself, that is precisely what is wonderful.

If it were not in this form, it would be impossible to do the Great work.

He is the one that has to eliminate all that Dry Mercury and all of that Poisonous Sulphur, so the Superior Existential Bodies of the Being can be transformed in vehicles of pure gold (in gold of the best quality).

The Three Wise Men that came to adore the child, represent the colors of the Great Work.

• The first color is the black. When we are perfecting a body, I repeat, that work is symbolized by the Black raven of death: it is the work of Saturn, symbolized by that Magician of black color. Then we are passing through a death: the death of all our desires, passions, etc., etc., etc., in the Astral world.
• The white dove comes after, that is to say, in the moment that we already have disintegrated all the “I’s” of the Astral world, we have the right to wear the tunic of white linen, the tunic of the Egyptian Ba, the tunic of Jesus. That is the second king, the white king.
• And if one has advanced enough in the perfection of the Astral body and the yellow color appears on it, one has then the right to wear the yellow tunic. Is then when the yellow eagle appears and this remind us of the third of the kings, the one of the yellow races.
• Finally, the crown of the work is the purple. When a body is of pure gold, one receives the purple of the kings (because one has been successful) and that is the purple that the kings carry on their shoulders.

Thus, there you see that the three Wise Men are not, as many believe, three people. No sir, they are the fundamental colors of the Great Work! And Jesus Christ is intimate, he is from within.

“Jesus” in Hebrew is “JESHUÁ”, and “Jeshuá” is “SAVIOUR”; and as Saviour, our Particular Jeshuá has to be born in this “stable” that we carry within, to carry out the Great Work.

He is the Inner Magnesium of the Alchemist Laboratory. The Great Master must emerge, then, in the depths of our Soul, of our Spirit.

The hardest thing, then, for the Intimate Christ, when he is born in the heart of Man, is precisely that of the Cosmic Drama, his VIA CRUCIS.

In the gospel we can see the multitudes asking for the crucifixion of the Lord. Those multitudes are not from yesterday or from a remote past as many believe, of something that happened 1.975 (the year this lecture was delivered) years ago. No, those multitudes are inside of ourselves, they are our famous “I’s”!

Well, inside each person there are thousands of people: the “I hate”, the “I am jealous”, the “I am envious”, the “I am greedy”…, that is, how many defects we have, and each defect is a different I.

I am speaking here, in this way and in this manner, simply because I see that the brothers who are here are mostly already from the Institution, right? There could be some visitors, but if the visitors do not understand, then excuse me. But, in reality, since they are all from the Institution, I can speak to them in this way.

It is clear that the inner multitudes are our famous “I’s” that shout: Crucifixia! Crucifixia! Crucifixia!

And as for the THREE TRAITORS, we already know that in the Christian Gospel they are: JUDAS, PILATE AND CAIAPHAS. Who is Judas? The Demon of Desire. Who is Pilate? The Demon of the Mind. Who is Caiaphas? The Demon of Ill Will. But we need to clarify a little, we need to specify this so that it can be understood.

Judas, the DEMON OF DESIRE, exchanges the Intimate Christ for 30 silver coins. 3 + 0 = 3. That is the Kabbalistic addition. That is, he exchanges it for material things: for money, for liquor, for luxury, for animal pleasures, etc., etc., etc…, he sells it…

And as for Pilate, he is the DEMON OF THE MIND. He always washes his hands, he is never guilty (never), he finds an evasion, a justification for everything; he never feels guilty.

In reality, we always justify every psychological defect that we have within us, we never feel guilty.

There are those that have said to me: “Sir, I think that I am a good person. I do not kill, I do not steal, I am charitable, I am not envious;” that is to say, “a virtuous man,” in their opinion they are perfects. “Well, -I say to myself- what can I do. In front of so much perfection: Goodbye!”

Thus, let us look at things as they are, in their crude realism. That Pilate always washes his hands, he never considers himself guilty. And as for Caiaphas, I frankly consider him to be the most perverse of all…

Think of what CAIAPHAS is. The Intimate Christ often names a Priest, a Master, an Initiate to guide his sheep, to feed them; he gives him command and puts him in charge of a congregation, and that Priest, or that Master, etc., or the Initiate, instead of guiding his people wisely, sells the Sacraments, prostitutes the Altar, fornicates with the devotees, etc., etc., etc.

Conclusion: He betrays the Inner Christ (that is what Caiaphas does). Is that painful? Of course, it is horrible, it is a betrayal, one of the dirtiest things there is! And there is no doubt that there are many Religions in the world that have been prostituted, that is obvious; there are many Priests who have betrayed the Inner Christ. I am not referring to this or that sect, no, but to all the Religions of the world.

It is possible, then, that Esoteric Groups led by true Initiates have been, these Initiates, many times traitors: they have betrayed the Intimate Christ; and all this is painful, infinitely painful. Caiaphas, then, is the dirtiest thing there is. These Three Traitors take the Intimate Christ, then, to torment.

Think, for a moment, of the Intimate Christ in the depths of each one of you, the owner of all your mental and emotional processes, fighting to save any one of you, suffering horribly; your own I’s (of yours) protesting against him, blaspheming him, putting the crown of thorns on him, whipping him. Well, that is the harsh reality of the facts: the Cosmic Drama, lived internally.

Finally, the Intimate Lord has to ascend to Calvary, that is obvious, and he descends to the Sepulcher (WITH HIS DEATH, HE KILLS DEATH. It is the last thing he does). Later, he RESURRECTS in the Initiate and the Initiate resurrects in him; then the Great Work has been accomplished (Consummatum Est!).

This is how Resurrected Masters have emerged throughout the centuries. Let us think of a HERMES TRISMEGISTUS, let us think of a MORIA (Great Master of Force, from Tibet); let us think of COUNT CAGLIOSTRO, who is still alive, or of SAINT GERMAIN, who visited Europe again in 1939. This Saint Germain worked actively during the 17th, 18th, 19th centuries, etc., and yet, physically, he continues to exist, he is a Resurrected Master. Why are these Masters Resurrected? Because thanks to the Inner Christ, they achieved the Resurrection.

Therefore, without the Inner Christ, the Resurrection would not be possible. Those who assume that the mere fact of a person dying physically gives them the right to the “Resurrection of the Dead” are truly people worthy of compassion, and “not only are they ignorant (speaking this time in the Socratic style), but what is worse: they are ignorant that they are ignorant”.

RESURRECTION is something that must be worked on and worked on here and now. And it must be Resurrected in this way: in flesh and blood, and in the living. IMMORTALITY must be achieved right now, personally. That is the way, then, the Christic Mystery must be considered.

What continues afterwards is formidable: he had to escape to Egypt, because Herod ordered to kill all the children and he had to escape (but this is symbolic, absolutely symbolic).

It is said (in an apocryphal gospel) that Jesus, and Mary had to escape to Egypt and that they stayed several days living under one fig tree, and from that fig tree emanated a spring of pure water (all of that has to be understood); that fig tree always represents sex. Do they nourish themselves with the fruits of the fig tree? They are the fruits of the Life of Knowledge of Good and Evil and that pure water that emanated from the fig tree, is just the Mercury of the Secret Philosophy.

Much has been said about the slaughter of the innocents. Nicholas Flamel left engraved on the doors of Paris’ cemetery, scenes of the slaughter of the Innocents. But what is the real meaning of the Decapitation of the Innocents? It is symbolic and alchemist as well!

Each one of us has his own particular, individual Father. “There are as many Fathers in Heaven as there are people on Earth” (and even more). Each one of us has his own. Obviously, no one will be able to see the father, or talk to him face to face, without “dying.”

First, the Ego must die (not the physical body but the Ego), so then later to have the happiness of seen the father and to speak with him. Otherwise, it would not be possible. Or at least, if the initiate is not completely “dead”, he has to have eliminated a 90% of his Ego, in order to have the blissfulness of seeing the Father and to speak with him, face to face, personally. He (Kether) is the Goodness of the Goodness, the Occult of the Occult, the Mercy of the Mercies.

Thus, then, this is the Tree of Life, the Ten Sephirots of the Hebrew Kabbalah. The SON OF MAN is in the Sephiroth Tiphereth; that is where the Son of Man is.

If we look at Tiphereth, we see that it is the fifth of the Sephiroths, that is, it is between the middle of the Sephiroths (of those above and those below). – With the profound respect that this congregation deserves, I allow myself to tell you that Christ and Buddha complement each other… Well, then I saw with astonishment that the Master nodded like this…, and said:

– That’s right; Christ and Buddha complement each other. He affirmed it, in front of all the monks.

Then he spoke to me with a Koan, to make me understand that Christ and Buddha are two intimate factors that one carries within oneself. He brought a thread, with which he tied first my right thumb, and then my left thumb. I understood the Koan, because I am accustomed to the Dialectic of Consciousness. He wanted to tell me, with that, that “Christ and Buddha are linked within ourselves, they are two aspects of our same Being”…

And I can explain this to you, or rather, explain it in the light, precisely, of the Tree of Life: the Buddha, naturally, is formed by these two Principles: CHESED and GEBURAH.

In strictly philosophical language, we would say: ATMAN-BUDDHI (that is the INNER BUDDHA).

Read Dante’s “Divine Comedy” and you will see how Virgil and Dante went down Lucifer’s Ladder. Each hair on Lucifer’s body seemed like a beam, they went down and they went up too, until they reached the top where “Golgotha” is; that is symbolic: “Lucifer is a ladder to go down. Lucifer is a ladder to go up”… Christ disguises himself as Lucifer to serve as a ladder and to take us out of the Abyss, to take us to the Light.

So we must now look at Lucifer from a new point of view. This Lucifer, really, is nothing more than the Reflection of the Logos within ourselves, his Shadow, and useful as well: he gives the sexual impulse.

This impulse is rebellious in itself, of the Luciferian type. But if one is able to control that animal impulse, then one transmutes the Sperm into Energy, begins the Great Work, and wins a battle against Lucifer…

Each time one manages to dominate the animal impulse, one climbs a step on the Ladder of Lucifer; and thus, one climbs step by step, until one comes out on top, Self-Realized and Perfect… So Lucifer serves as a ladder for one to climb, and vice versa, if one wants to go down, one has no choice but to go down the Ladder of Lucifer…

As for the Tiger (Xolotl-Lucifer), it is the symbol, precisely, of the NAHUA LUCIFER; and that is how one must understand it. The TIGER KNIGHTS are men who were fighting, precisely, for their Self-Realization, fighting against the animal Ego. Originally, the Tiger Knights were Initiates. Any other questions, brothers? – Master. Well, the symbolism of the Star is clear and vivid. Obviously, this triangle represents SULFUR and the other represents MERCURY…, this triangle represents Mercury… Unquestionably, Sulfur is the Sacred Fire that one has to awaken in one’s organism; and Mercury is formed by the transmutation of Sexual Secretions, these become Energy, and that Energy is Mercury.

And all the Great Work must be done on the basis of Sulfur and Mercury. Without Sulfur and Mercury, the Great Work cannot be done. That is the harsh reality of the facts… Now…

– Master. Well, better. Here we see, then, that the STAR OF SOLOMON speaks for itself, it has six points that are masculine, and the six deep entrances between point and point, are feminine.

In total, twelve rays are broken down. These twelve rays, in turn, come to crystallize in the TWELVE CONSTELLATIONS OF THE ZODIAC. It is the symbol of the Logos, the Star of King Solomon; and the Philosopher’s Stone itself, comes to be a mixture, then, of Sulfur and Mercury, and Salt (it is saline); and it contains Sulfur and Mercury in itself. So that all the work of the Great Work is based on Sulfur and Mercury.

The Superior Existential Bodies of the Being must be created, and they are created through Sexual Transmutation: Transmuting and Sublimating the Creative Energy, one comes to give rise to Mercury, of the Secret Philosophy. This Mercury, in turn, integrated with Sulfur, serves as a foundation to create the Astral, Mental and Causal Bodies.

Whoever comes to possess such bodies, receives their Animic and Spiritual Principles, and becomes a true Man.

Now, to bring such vehicles to Perfection is possible with the help of the Inner Magnes, that is, with the help of the Intimate Christ. To receive this extra help, it is necessary to go through the Venustic Initiation, that is, the Initiation of Tiphereth. He who does not pass, he who does not receive the Venustic Initiation, cannot incarnate the Intimate Christ. The fundamental thing in life is to become one who incarnates Him.

It is written: “He who knows the word gives power; no one has pronounced it, no one will pronounce it, but only he who has incarnated it”… Any other questions, brothers?

– Student. How does one manage to know, or begin to know, the Initiation?

– Master. To reach the Venustic Initiation, one must FIRST PASS through the Higher Initiations. One must have passed through all Five Great Initiations of Fire. Only he who has passed through the FIVE GREAT INITIATIONS OF FIRE, manages, in the end, to receive the Venustic Initiation. It is very demanding; but, obviously, if one sets his mind to it, in the long run he can achieve it. In any case, this is done gradually. One has to start from the beginning: by being a GOOD DISCIPLE, before being able to aspire to be a MASTER. Any other questions, brothers? Let’s see, let’s not leave anyone with any doubts…
